About The Event
Enjoy this beautiful afternoon workshop to connect to self, filled with:
* Breathwork * Mantras * Yoga * Meditation * Music * Mini Massage
Daiana will immerse you in an organic yoga practice that she created after discovering the Amazon forest. The intention is to synchronize the rhythm of the body with the cycles of nature and to take conscious part in the enjoyment of every moment of our life by allowing our bodies to develop more fluidly and dynamically, as well as nourish our calmness and receptivity.
Daiana and Shaman will work with different posture sequences corresponding to the five elements, including the dimension of internal space as well.
During the workshop, you will explore various stages of yoga:
• Practice pranayama or control breathing techniques
• Invoke mantras, giving free expression to your voice
• Dynamic, flowing asanas sequences
• Deep relaxation massage and meditation
Daiana and Shaman consider that music is a medicine that can harmonise the body, mind and emotions. For that, the music will be present during the experience.
Shaman will accompany us into flowing energy with his instruments, cosmic bow, drums and kalimbas.
To finish, Shaman will guide a collective massage to all the participants in order to relax and dynamize us.

Daiana has explored the ritual music of different cultures throughout the world, emphasizing the songs of the Amazonian communities from Colombia and Brazil. Her ethnomusical research has inspired diverse sound creations and documentaries. Daiana’s most recent work, based on her travels to the Amazon, was presented at the Museum du Quai Branly in Paris in the winter of 2016. She is currently a professor of piano and singing in various alternative schools in Palma de Mallorca.
Musical composer, creator and performer of kalimbas and percussions. Shaman is the author of the body music percussion manual titled ‘Body Music’. From the early age of 12, Shaman’s passion for rhythm brought him to Africa, India and Cuba to learn from great musicians. He incorporates these world rhythms into a playful method he has developed to teach body percussion and circle song to children and adults in both teambuilding workshops and school classrooms.
